New Saturday Route to The District - Beginning Winter Quarter 2012
On Saturdays beginning Winter Quarter 2012, we will be offering a route to the District shopping center. There will be a 1-way Ride Fare of $1.00 per boarding (exact change only, no change will be provided). A schedule and map will be available shortly.
Service Reduction Beginning Winter Quarter 2012:
In an effort to reduce cost and improve efficiency, there will be a reduction in service to the Newport Beach route and the Camino del Sol route for the Winter 2012 and Spring 2012 Quarters.
Newport Beach Route:
The reduction in service to the Newport Beach route will emphasize picking up passengers during times that have higher ridership. The following times are when the route will be running:
7:20am-9:00am
11:50am-2:00pm
5:50pm-8:00pm
10:10pm-11:15pm (Monday-Thursday Only)
Due to the reduction in service, we will also reduce the price of our Unlimited Quarterly Ride pass for the Newport route to $55 per quarter. The cash fare per boarding ($2) and 18-Ride Pass price ($32) will remain the same.

Camino del Sol Route:
The route will still operate from 7:20am to 7:00pm, but will now have a frequency of every 10 minutes.

Cash Fares and Passes for Off-Campus Routes (Newport Beach and Parkwest - Carlson):
§ Parkwest Unlimited Ride Pass: $80.00 (Good only for the quarter it is issued)
§ Newport Unlimited Ride Pass: $55.00 (Good only on the Newport route and only for the quarter it is issued)
§ 18 Ride Pass: $32.00
1-way Ride Fare (paid to driver - exact change only):$2.00
*Passes can be purchased at the Items store located in the Student Center. Week 1 of each quarter will be free to allow passengers the opportunity to purchase a ride pass. January 9th through January 13th, 2012 will be free of charge for Winter Quarter 2012
Academic Year Transit
The AV - Admin - ARC Shuttle travels between the Arroyo Vista Housing Complex and the campus core (Campus Stop located at the University Center next to Lee’s Sandwiches). This shuttle also services Puerta del Sol residents (stop located on Campus Drive) and the Anteater Recreation Center.
Service Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 7:15AM-11:00PM; Friday: 7:15AM-7:00PM
The Camino del Sol Shuttle travels between the Camino del Sol Housing Complex and the campus core (Campus Stop located at the University Center next to Lee’s Sandwiches) with a transfer to the Main Campus Shuttle on Campus Dr. Night service includes several shuttles on a combined Camino del Sol/VDC/VDC Norte Route. Friday afternoon service also runs on a combined Camino del Sol/VDC/VDC Norte Route.

The District Shuttle travels between
The District in Tustin (offers shopping, dining and entertainment) and various stops around the UCI campus. These stops include east campus housing communities (VDC/VDCN/CDS/AV), University Town Center and Park West Apartments.
Service Schedule: Saturday: 9:45AM-11:25PM
The Main Campus Shuttle travels around the UCI campus, with convenient transfer locations to all the other shuttle routes. Major stop locations are located at University Center, Albertsons, Arroyo Vista, the Anteater Recreation Center, Engineering Gateway, Physical Sciences, Campus Village, Arts/Humanities, and Mesa Court (Night Service only).
Service Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 7:15AM-10:45PM; Friday: 7:15AM-7:15PM
The Newport Shuttle transports passengers from UCI (UCI stops located at: University Town Center bus cutlet next to Lee’s Sandwiches and Crawford Hall bus shelter) to various points of interest in Newport Beach including: the UCI sail base, Hoag Hospital and the Newport Peninsula. Passengers can ride the Newport Shuttle for $2.00 per ride. Passengers can also purchase an 18 Ride Pass for $32.00 or an Unlimited Use Quarterly Pass for $80.00. The Parkwest - Carlson Shuttle travels between the Park West Apartment Complex, Carlson Avenue (Villa Sienna, Toscana and the Park Place Shopping Center) and UCI with a transfer to the Irvine Shuttle on Michelson Dr. Passengers can ride the Parkwest - Carlson Shuttle for $2.00 per ride. Passengers can also purchase an 18 Ride Pass for $32.00 or an Unlimited Use Quarterly Pass for $80.00. Shuttle passes can be purchased at UC Items.

Residents have a variety of options to travel around campus. To get to the campus core from Puerta del Sol, residents may board the AV-ADMIN-ARC, Camino del Sol, or VDC Norte Shuttles on the North side of Campus Drive at Cornell and exit at University Center. To return to Puerta del Sol, residents may board the VDC or Main Campus Shuttles at University Center (UCI side of the street) and exit at Cornell. The Main Campus shuttle will also take residents to the ARC Parking Structure, and the AV-ADMIN-ARC Shuttle will take residents to Puerta del Sol from the ARC Parking Structure.

PDS/CDS/VDC/VDC Norte Summer Shuttle travels between the Puerta del Sol, Camino del Sol, Vista del Campo, Vista del Campo Norte Housing Complexes, the ARC and the campus core (Campus Stop located at the University Center next Lee’s Sandwiches) on a combined route. Passengers can ride the PDS/CDS/VDC/VDC Norte Summer Shuttle for $1.00 per ride. Passengers can also purchase an Unlimited Use Summer Session 1 Pass for $35.00, Unlimited Use Summer Session 2 Pass for $35.00 or Unlimited Use Summer Sessions 1 and 2 Pass for $65.00. All passes can be purchased at UC Items.
